GENERAL OF SHIPPING Notice Inviting Tender from Service Providers for support level Marine Post Sea examination related work - Manpower & Infrastructure. Director General of Shipping intends to commission a competent and reputed Service Provider experienced in the relevant field for Providing support level Marine Post Sea examination related work - Manpower & Infrastructure on a turnkey basis, for which tenders from service providers are invited to enable the Government to short-list the eligible ones for the purpose of selection.
Service Providers
must satisfy the following conditions to be eligible for short-listing: (a) Service Providers / consortium should have experience of handling assignments for exam related support services.
(c) The minimum average turnover of the bidder from similar rendered services shall be a minimum of Rs. One million per annum during the last three years and a total turnover including the turnover of the consortium, if any, shall be a minimum of Rs.10 million, for qualification and short-listing. Tender from service providers will be screened by a Screening Committee, that will short-list tenders meeting the criteria of pre-qualification. Short-listed bidders will be invited to participate in the two part, tendering system for final selection by an Evaluation Committee. The tender forms can be obtained from the office of Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai by a Demand Draft of Rs 1500/- (Rs. One Thousand Five Hundred only) drawn in favour of Director General of Shipping, Mumbai payable at Mumbai. Interested Service Providers may submit their tender along with background paper by 15th May, 2008 at the following address. Short-listed service providers will be invited to participate in the tender for selection. Last date for issue of tender forms 9th May, 2008 by 1600 hrs Last date for submission of tender documents 15th May, 2008 by 1600 hrs Pre bid meeting at the conference room of the Directorate 25th April, 2008 at 1100 hrs.
