S.O.  753(E) --- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 1 of section 218 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 ( 44 of 1958), read with rules 3 & 4  of the National Welfare for Seafarers  Rules  1963, as amended from time to time, the Central  Government  hereby nominate Capt. S. Vijayan Pillai, Director  of Ports, Vellayambalam, Thiruvananthapuram – 695010, Kerala, on the Board  constituted by this Ministry’s Notification of even number dated 04.11.1993 as member.
