          The Central Government has intimated publication of a notification in the Gazette of India - Extraordinary on September 14, 2005 promulgating the Merchant Shipping (Recruitment and Placement of Seafarers) Amendment Rules, 2005.  The copy of the Gazette notification is enclosed.
