Subject: - Filling up the five (5) posts of Asstt. Director General of Shipping/Director, Seamen's Employment Office in the Directorate General of Shipping & allied offices in Mumbai and Kolkatta in the pay scale of Rs.10,000-325-15,200/- by deputation.
 

      The undersigned is directed to state that five (5) posts of Asstt. Director General of Shipping/Director, Seamen's Employment Officer have fallen vacant in the office of Directorate General of Shipping and allied offices at Mumbai and Kolkata.  It is proposed to fill up these vacancies by deputation basis as per the provisions contained in the existing Recruitment Rules. The details regarding the pay scale, eligibility, etc. are as given in [Annexure-I & II].  The term of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years. The deputation is to be from amongst the officers of the Central Government with at least 5 years service in the grade as per criteria laid down in [Annexure-I & II].  The pay and allowances of the officer selected for appointment will be regulated in terms of the relevant rules/orders in force from time to time.

        It is requested that applications from eligible officers, who are willing to be considered and whose services can be spared may please be forwarded in the prescribed form [Annexure-III] in triplicate along with their complete CR Dossiers pre ceding 5 years, statement of major/minor penalties imposed/cadre clearance and Integrity/Vigilance Clearance Certificate to the undersigned within 45 days of issue of this circular.  Incomplete application or applications received after the prescribed date will not be entertained.  Candidates who apply for the post shall not be allowed to withdraw their applications later.
