It is hereby informed that the Competent Authority has imposed
additional/extra 3 months actual sea service prior to 6 months qualifying
sea service for MEO Class IV Part 'B' Examination due to non-compliance of
ship-in-campus/afloat training by Sri Nandhanam Maritime Academy (Sri
Nandhanam College of Engineering & Technology), Tirupattur, Tamil Nadu for
the students of First batch of 4 years BE Marine Engineering Degree
Course commenced in the year 2007-08, in terms of Letter
No.3-TR(2)/2006-4 years BE Vol-IV dated 16/17.8.2010.
All concerned may kindly note for information and necessary
action in the matter.
