Sub : Exemption from TOTA for faculties of academic subjects.

          In partial modification of para 3.6.2 of DGS Order No.2 of 2007 and Training Circular No.26 of 2005, it has been decided that any faculty member who has a B.Ed. degree, in addition to qualifications required for the subject, and who has at least 3 years teaching experience in the subject, will be exempted from doing a Training for Trainers & Assessors (TOTA) course.

         This issues with the approval of the Director General of Shipping & Ex-Officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
