Subject-Incomplete information with regard to charter foreign flag vessels

       It has been brought to our notice that sometimes, charterer/applicant while submitting the application do not furnish all documents / required statutory certificates in time alongwith correct fee. This involves avoidable back reference and delay in processing. All charterers and applicants are hereby advised to ensure that all relevant certificates and documents are submitted alongwith correct fee, otherwise the application is likely to be rejected summarily and fee will be forfeited.  The applicant will have to resubmit the application afresh alongwith requisite fee and fresh NOC from INSA wherever applicable.  

The applicant must also ensure that correct and realistic laycan and load/discharge ports alongwith quantity and name of cargo are given which should match with that as indicated in NoC from INSA.  The applicants are also requested to ensure that applications are sent well within the stipulated period as per chartering guidelines issued by SD Circular No. 2 of 2002.
