Sub: Fees for ISPS Verification Audit for Ships and Port Facility | |

1. The Surveyor from Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) may carry out verification audit of ships independently at foreign ports on behalf of Director General of Shipping. 2. The verification audit for ships at Indian Ports shall be carried out jointly by the Surveyors from Mercantile Marine Departments (MMDs) 2.1 Attention is invited to para 4 of DGS Circular No. NT/ISPS/SSP/01/2004 dt. 25th February 2004. 3. Verification Audit of Port Facility for purpose of issuance of Statement of Compliance (SOC) shall be carried out by the Surveyors from Mercantile Marine Departments (MMDs) or Directorate General of Shipping. 3.1 Attention is invited to para 4 of DGS Circular No. NT/ISPS/PFSP/02/2004 dt. 25th February 2004. 4. Fee for verification Audit of ships in accordance with DGS circular No.1 of 2004 dt. 01/01/2004 shall be paid to the Principal Officer of concerned Mercantile Marine Department (MMD). 5. The fee for preparation of Statement of Compliance (SOC), Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR), International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC) shall be paid to the Directorate General of Shipping in accordance with the Nautical Branch circulars referred above. 6. The Ships and Port Facilities which have not submitted the required fee for scrutiny of Ship Security Plans (SSPs) Port Facility Security Assessment (PFSA) and Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) shall submit the same a per DGS Circular No. 1 of 2004 dt. 01/01/2004 prior to issuance of the, International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC)/Statement of Compliance (SOC).
