Sub: Replacement of Continuous Discharge Certificate-cum-Seafarers Identity Document (CDC) issued under the M.S. (CDC) Rules, 1960

The clause (8) of M.S. Notice No.23 of 2003 dated 25.8.2003, is partially modified hereby, and applications for replacement of CDCs, issued under M.S. (CDC) Rules, 1960, will be received by Shipping Master, Mumbai/Chennai/Kolkatta for a further period of ONE YEAR  from the date of issue of this notice, subject to the terms and conditions mentioned in the M.S. Notice No.23 of 2003 dated 25.8.2003.

          This extension is being issued on a specific request received from the shipping industry to facilitate those seafarers who could not apply for replacement of CDCs earlier.  However, no further request for extension of the time period will be entertained.
