Subject : Information to Chief Hydrographer regarding changes to charted data
 

1. Reference is invited to earlier M.S. Notice No. 18/2001 dated 15th November 2001 issued on the subject.
    

2. Port authorities are requested to inform any changes in navigational information pertaining to their respective ports including of modernization plan etc to the office of the Chief Hydrographer for incorporation into charts.
    

3. Ship Masters are once again reminded to actively participate in updating charts and nautical publication by informing the Chief Hydrographer to the Govt. of India about any discrepancy noted to charted data inclusive of any dangers or incorrect charted aids to navigation.
    

4. This information is used by the hydrographic office for the correction and update of charts and nautical publication for safety of ships.
