M.S. Notice No.10 of 2008 deals with
sea time requirements for deck cadet undertaking training on TCTS.

In pursuance of
above notice, it has been decided that a Trainee Nautical Officer Cadet
(TNOC), who undergoes prescribed training satisfactorily, be issued with
captioned certificate enclosed as
annex 'A' to this notice, so that entitled remission can be
claimed by trainee.

While assessing
the seatime of such trainees, the assessment centers are required to
ensure production of captioned certificate duly filled in and issued by
the Master.

This M.S. Notice
No. 26 of 2009 is to be read with M.S. Notice No. 10 of 2008 on the
cited subject by the Shipping companies, the ship Masters and trainees
participating in dedicated Ship-Board Training programme on a Trading
Cadet Training Ship (TCTS).

This issues with
the approval of the Director General of Shipping.
