Subject: Revised implementation schedule for requirement set out in
            Annexure XIII D G S order 6 of 2010. 

1.          Reference is invited to M.S. Notice No, 7 of 2011 dated 11^th March 2011 wherein under paragraph (A) & (B), the date for compliance and reporting to DGS by the company after an internal audit for ship security measures, has been indicated as 31^st March 2011. 

2.          Considering the date of issuance of M.S. Notice No. 7 of 2011 to be 11^th March 2011 and the feedback received from industry that 20 days to comply with the additional ship security requirement is inadequate, the date of compliance and reporting after the internal audit by the company to DGS, stands extended to 15^th May 2011, subject to all vessels complying with the existing ship security requirements as currently applicable. 

3.          This issues with the approval of Director General of Shipping & Ex - officio Addl. Secretary to the Govt. Of India.
