Sub: Compliance with INSPIRES (Indian Ship Position & Information Reporting Systems)

 1. In Continuation of M.S.Notice No.9 dated 20.05.2002 on the subject, all Indian flagged vessels participating in "INSPIRES", in addition to the information provided in Admiralty list of Radio Signals Vol I Part I may use following communication channels for sending INSPIRE messages to NCSO/Mumbai.

2. In view of the current security environment, Indian ship owners, ship managers, Masters on board Indian Flag Vessels are to report to their position from all over the world whether in port or in sea to the Naval Control Shipping Organization (NCSO-MB) through communication channel as mentioned in para 1
