Sub: - Guidance to ship owners and ship operators, shipmasters and crews on preventing and suppressing acts of piracy and armed robbery against ships.

                                    

  1. The Maritime safety committee of the IMO during its Eighty Sixth session has approved the revised MSC/Circ. 623/Rev.3 pertaining to the above subject, by issuing MSC.1/Circ.1334
     
  2. It is recommended that the contents of the circular MSC.1/Circ/1334 dated 23rd June 2009 are brought to the attention of your members companies, crews and all other concerned parties.
