Further to Circular No. 76 dated 4th October, 2004, Para 2 is amended  to  be read as follows:-

1.        In partial modification to Instruction of Examiners Circular No.53 dated 1st July, 2003 with regard to Qualifying sea service for steam or motor endorsement: 

 

Normal table for candidates following a route from Class IV level onwards is as given below:

This is in modification to the table given in META manual Vol. I on Page III/26 (table 3)
This should be implemented with immediate effect.

 *Steam or motor endorsement to a C.O.C applies to candidates who are in possession of C.O.C for the grade in Motor or Steam respectively.
