In continuation to the Instructions to Examiners Circular No. 071 issued on 3rd August 2004 regarding conduct of orals for MEO Examination. At page 2, in Sub-para (3) (b), instead of "post sea teaching" inadvertently "pre sea teaching' was mentioned in the above mentioned circular. The Sub-para (3)(b) may please be read as follows: "(b) Currently serving as Technical Superintendent, Surveyor of Classification Society, Non-exclusive Surveyors, Consultant of a Shipping company, Technical Managers of Ship repair company or Ship management company, who are in no way involved in teaching or training for examinations of a particular grade in any post sea teaching / training institutions."
Rest of the portion will
