In accordance with the implementation
of STCW 95 and rules framed therein all certificates of competency
issued after 1st Feb 1997 will be valid till 31st Jan 2002, unless
they have been upgraded or issued as per MEO exam rules 1998.
All certificates issued prior 1st Feb 1997 and later revalidated
will be valid till the date of validity or 31st Jan 2002 whichever
is earlier, unless they are upgraded and revalidated as the case
may be.
You are requested to stamp the
certificates accordingly.
