It is observed that MMDs are allowing candidates more than the capacity of the Examination Hall which leads to excessive load on the Surveyor / Examiner. This has been viewed seriously in the Directorate and it has been decided that only following numbers of candidates can be accommodated per session of the examination. 

In case there are 2 or more grades of exam per session, the examiner of engineer of the district can decide the number of candidate to be taken per grade for the session. But in no case it should exceed above-mentioned capacity

In case there are more candidates than mentioned above, prior permission has to be sought from the Chief Examiner of Engineer, DGS.

The last date for booking of seat for the particulars month by the candidates will be 1^st Monday of that month.

This instruction will come in effect from 1^st June 2004.
