The Class II, Part 'B' examination
under the 'new' examination system of M.E.O. 1998 Examination
Rules is likely to be commenced from the month of July 2001. Sample
papers in this regard have been circulated to the relevant institutions
for information. The eligibility for Class II examination will
be in accordance with the M S Notice No. 11 of 1998 and 6 of 2000.
You are requested to advise all the shipowners, candidates and
institutions in this regard so that candidate may seek eligibility
and appear for the examination. This is being done to change the
entire system of the new examination format under the MEO 1998
examination rules.
