This provisional approval for commencement of first
year of 4 years BE Marine Engineering Degree Course is accorded only for
the academic year 2009-10 subject to the conditions that the Institute is
require to install and commission the "Ship in Campus" as per the
commitment given by the Institute vide its letter dated 16.2.2009 and
ensure full compliance of DGS requirements w.r.t. Infrastructure,
equipments, workshop/lab facilities, faculty and other training facilities
before commencement of the course.
24.1st Year of 4 years B. E. (Marine Engineering) Degree
Course
This provisional approval for commencement of first
year of 4 years BE Marine Engineering Degree Course is accorded only for
the academic year 2010-11 subject to the conditions that
the Institute's
fulfillment of observations/deficiencies reported by SAC & DGS in all
respects including "Ship in Campus".

provisional approval for commencement of first year of 4 years BE Marine
Engineering Degree Course is accorded only for the academic year 2011-12.

and 2nd of 4 years BE Marine Engineering Degree Course for the first and
Second batches commenced in the year 2006-07 & 2007-08.
This
provisional approval is only for the batches commenced in the year 2006-07
& 2007-08 subject to condition that the students of these batches have
undergo extra sea time of 3 months for being eligible to apply MEO
Class-IV-Part B Examination in addition to regular 6 months of sea
service. Necessary endorsement needs to be made by MMDs while
issuing EXN-45.
