                      Note :-
 

1.       2M means 2nd Mate FG; 1M PH-I means 1st Mate (FG) Phase-I; 1M PH-II means 1st Mate (FG) Phase-II and ASM means
Advanced Shipboard Management Examination of Master (FG).

2.   Dr.(Kol) - means Dredging Grade Examinations to be held at Kolkata.

3.   Fishing (Ch.) - means Fishing Grade Examinations to be held at Chennai.

4.       Ex. M means Extra Master all grades

5.       Ex. M(A) /Ex. M(B) / Ex. M.(C)-means Extra Master Part (A) / Part (B) / Part (C) respectively.

6.       Duration of courses :- 2nd Mate (FG) Function : 4 months / 1st Mate Phase-I : 3 months / Phase-II : 3 months /
      ASM : 1 months.

7.      Each course except course of Ex [M] shall commence on 15th day of the month and will end on 14th day of the month after completion of the duration .

8.      This Schedule does not include course / examinations for NCV grade and 2nd Mate Foundation which shall be issued separately by LBS College.

9.       2M (R) & 1M (R)means NCV, Upgradation 2nd Mate (FG) (Restricted), 1st Mate (FG)(Restricted) as per M.S. Notice No. 1 of 2006.

10.  Scheduled Examination Results will be declared by 3rd week of the following month.
